Welcome to Wildflower and Main Editorial!

Your story isn’t broken. But revision has stalled.

Fix one scene and three others unravel.
You revise, undo, revise again, and momentum quietly drains away.

I help fiction writers regain clarity during revision, so they can move forward with confidence—often in weeks, not months.

Writers don’t come here because they lack talent or discipline.

They come when revision reaches the hard stage.
The story is close, but not landing.
Every decision creates new uncertainty.

This is where many strong novels stall. Not because the writer failed, but because direction has been lost inside a complex system.

This isn’t a motivation problem.
It’s a structural and strategic one.
And it’s fixable.

My Services

The Story Compass Session

The Clarity Developmental Edit

A full-manuscript developmental edit that provides strategic orientation, structural insight, and a clear plan for your next draft.

My Approach to Story

I’m Sarah, a fiction developmental editor and registered nurse.

This background shapes how I work. I’m trained to assess complex systems under pressure, prioritize, and intervene without creating unnecessary complications.

I don’t approach manuscripts as a list of problems to solve. I look for patterns, pressure points, and places where a small, well-timed change can shift the whole system. This training matters in revision, where fixing the wrong thing often creates more work instead of less.

I work with writers who want a careful outside look at their draft and a clearer sense of where to focus next in revision.
